Day 2 of Event #19: THE GIANT - $365 No-Limit Hold'em started with 882 players. During the 13th level of the day the tournament reached 27 players and the clock was stopped with 20 minutes left. The tournament staff did the redraw while the 27 players that were left bagged their chips. They will come back Sunday to try and win the highly desired gold bracelet.
The chip leader after a tumultuous Day 2 is John Hutchinson with 21,200,000 chips. Second in chips is Hrair Yapoudjian with 18,875,000, and third in the chip counts is Ravi Raghavan with 12,900,000. Other notables still in the hunt are Dieter Dechant (8,775,000) and Eric Baldwin (8,075,000).
Among those who did not make it through the day was the chip leader after the first flights, Valentin Vornicu. Other notables that failed to make it through today, including Barry Greenstein, Niall Farrell, Ryan Riess, Allen Cunningham, Jesse Martin, Dietrich Fast, Liv Boeree, John Racener, Maxim Lykov amongst many others.

In the last hand before the break, John Hutchinson and Romit Advani were involved in a huge pot.
Advani raised to 525,000 from the under-the-gun position and Hutchinson called.
The flop came on which they both checked.
The turn brought them the , Advani bet 775,000, Hutchinson raised to 2,150,000 and Advani called.
The on the river completed the board. Advani checked, Hutchinson bet 3,610,000 and after taking some time to think, Advani called. Hutchinson showed for a set of jacks and Advani showed for top pair on the turn. Hutchinson took the pot and the chip lead.
Chris Grigorian was in early position and moved all in for roughly 800,000. Hrair Yapoudjian was on the button and called.

The board ran out and Yapoudjian took it down eliminating Grigorian in the process. Grigorian put in a hard fought effort today after being down to 100,000 and less than ten big blinds, grinding it all the way up to 2,100,000 at his peak.
Ravi Raghavan raised to 450,000 from late position. Romit Advani, in the small blind, three-bet to 1,520,000. Raghavan shoved all in, and Advani called.

The board ran out , and Advani hit a king on the flop and doubled up.
The player in the hijack raised to 275,000. Chris Grigorian was on the button and moved all in for roughly 2,100,000. Warren Janney was in the small blind and moved all in for 1,255,000. The original raiser folded, leaving the two to battle it out.
