Belianin Takes from Luneau

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Razz:

Alexandre Luneau completed with a {2-}, and Georgii Belianin raised with his own {2-}. Luneau obliged, and they carried on to the following streets. Luneau took the betting lead on fourth and fifth streets, and Belianin stuck around. The last two streets brought bets from Belianin, and Luneau called them both.

Luneau: {X-}{X-} / {2-}{7-}{3-}{7-} / {X-}
Belianin: {A-}{8-} / {2-}{K-}{6-}{4-} / {6-}

Belianin showed his eighty-six for the winning hand, as Luneau threw his into muck.

Tanaka Runs into Bhargava's Straight

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better:

Fast-paced action between Sachin Bhargava and Masayoshi Tanaka saw the latter eliminated in 24th place.

Tanaka raised on fifth street, and Bhargava instantly three-bet, covering his opponent. Tanaka called but saw the bad news right away as Bhargava had already made an eight-high straight. Tanaka had a pair of eights and improved to queens up, but that was all he could get.

Luneau Shortens Jett with Trip Aces

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em:

Chip Jett raised to 7,500 in the cutoff. Alex Luneau called on the button, and Joseph Cousin called in the big blind.

Jett continued for 11,000 on the {7-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} flop, and only Luneau called. The turn card was the {4-Hearts}, and both players checked. Jett checked again on the {A-Spades} river, and Luneau bet 25,000. Jett called.

Luneau showed {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, having extracted some value with his rivered trip aces.

Viriyayuthakorn Folds on Sixth Street

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Razz:

Jason Viriyayuthakorn completed with an {8-}, and Ryan Himes raised with a {2-}. Viriyayuthakorn called.

Viriyayuthakorn called on fourth street, too, and bet fifth street when Himes checked to him. Himes called, then bet himself on sixth street. That was the final act of aggression in this hand, as Viriyayuthakorn laid it down.

Viriyayuthakorn: {X-}{X-} / {8-}{8-}{3-}{J-} (folded on sixth street)
Himes: {X-}{X-} / {2-}{Q-}{J-}{5-}

Christopher Sensoli Surging

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Christopher Sensoli
Christopher Sensoli

Razz:

Sensoli: {x-}{x-} / {2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds} / {x-}
Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Hearts} / {x-}

Daniel Negreanu raised, and Christopher Sensoli called. Sensoli check-called a bet on fourth street, then bet fifth, sixth, and seventh streets.

On the last street, Negreanu looked down at his hand in disgust before mucking {a-}{5-}{10-} face-up. "I started ace-three-four-five and just...," he trailed off. "A six or a deuce."

"I had one of each of those," said Sensoli, matter-of-factly.

"Yeah, they were on your board!" Negreanu answered.
