Updates from the Orange Section

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Only seven tables remain in the orange section as the field gets thinned out further. Severin Schleser busted yet another player to move up in the counts and other recently spotted big stacks include David Lambard and Sampath de Silva.

Lambard sent a short stack to the rail when his {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} won a flip for 35,000 against {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, the board came {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} to give Lambard a set. The next hand, de Silva defended his small blind and check-raised a flop of {J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. De Silva and his opponent had already engaged in table talk when the hand started and he check-raised from 2,000 to 5,000.

"You don't have the five," the initial raiser said and reluctantly folded. De Sliva had a big smile under his blue superman hat and eventually flashed the {5-Spades} for trips.

Below are further assrted counts from the section.
