Welcome back to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino and the 2017 World Series of Poker for Day 2 of the Event #26: $10,000 Razz Championship.
Tuesday saw 97 players take to the felt to battle it out to see who would be crowned the razz champion of 2017. This tournament attracted another world-class field of players, but unfortunately multi-time WSOP Bracelet winners Phil Hellmuth, Robert Mizrachi, Mike Matusow, Max Pescatori, Benny Glaser, Daniel Negreanu, David Bach, Jeff Lisandro, Jason Mercier, John Monnette and defending champion Ray Dehkharghani were just a handful of those finding themselves on the rail throughout the day.
Once the dust settled on the days play, only 38 players would remain with Frank Kassela bagging an impressive 364,500 in chips and Don Zewin the only other player with a stack over 300,000. Right on their heels are Anthony Zinno (254,000), Andrey Zhigalov (241,000), Konsantin Maslak (216,500), James Obst (210,000) and Russell Clayton (200,000). A plethora of other notables are still in the hunt also, and everyone will be eyeing the money-paying final 15 before switching their focus to the $265,138 first prize and WSOP bracelet going to the winner.

After some controversy regarding whether or not Ted Forrest revealed a hole card from the bring-in, the dealer and floor staff exposed his .
James Obst completed. Next to act Mike Leah raised. Action folded around and Obst called. On fourth street, Obst bet and Leah called. On fifth street, Obst bet again.
"Fuck," Leah said upon seeing his card and what remained of his chips. Eventually, he threw in the call, leaving himself with just 2,000.
On sixth, Obst bet and Leah called all in.
Obst showed for an eighty-seven while Leah held and was drawing dead as he could only make a ten-low. Obst last card was a while Leah drew a and was eliminated from the tournament.
Jared Talarico completed with his . James Obst called.
On fourth, Obst bet and Talarico called. On fifth, Talarico took the betting lead and bet, Obst raised and Talarico called. On sixth, Talarico bet and Obst called. On seventh, Talarico checked to Obst. Obst bet and Talarico called. Obst showed and Talarico mucked, exposing an in the process. With that pot, Obst moves into the chip lead while Talarico falls among the short stacks.
Ted Forrest had the bring-in and Erik Seidel completed. After considering his options for close to two minutes, Forrest called, and then called Seidel's 4,500-chip all-in on fourth street.

With Seidel making a king-queen low, Forrest's queen-six low would see him scoop the pot and eliminate the eight-time WSOP bracelet winner.
Frank Kassela completed and Jared Talarico raised to 24,000. Kassela made it 36,000 and Talarico called all in for his final 30,000.

With Kassela improving his ten-low to a nine-low on seventh street, Talarico would be unable to find a card to surge ahead as he was eliminated in 22nd place.
Catching the action on fourth street, David Baker bet out and Mike Watson raised. Andrey Zhigalov folded and Baker re-raised. Watson called all-in and each player's boards ran out as follows:
