Thomas Doubles Through Reichenstein and Busts Marques

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Tom Thomas
Tom Thomas

A massive pot emerged between Tom Thomas and Uri Reichenstein with more than 60,000 already in the middle on the turn of {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. Thomas moved all in for 82,000 and Reichenstein was sent into the think tank. The clock was called on him and he was given 30 seconds to act per the new rule.

Reichenstein eventually called and tabled {J-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for top pair and a flush draw, while Thomas had {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for middle set. The {8-Hearts} river bricked and Reichenstein took a massive hit to the stack.

Soon after, Thomas defended his big blind and saw Renato Marques get his stack in after a flop of {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Thomas called with {10-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Marques had {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. The {4-Diamonds} turn gave Marques some further outs, but the {5-Hearts} river was a blank.

Bojang Doubles Up

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Ronen Ohayon was in the hijack and raised to 1,700. Ismael Bojang was in the small blind and moved all in for 32,500. Ohayon paused for a minute and then called.

Bojang tabled {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Ohayon showed {k-Spades}{q-Spades}.

The flop was {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} hitting Ohayon's king. The turn was the {j-Spades} and the river was the {a-Diamonds} hitting Bojang's ace and giving him the best hand. Ohayon was visibly frustrated, almost ripping his shirt off and letting out a yell.
