Brown Takes From Guo

Level 19 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Hold'em

Andrew Brown raised from the cutoff, Yuebin Guo three-bet from the button and Brown called.

On the {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, Brown check-called Guo's bet.

The action was the same on the {K-Spades} turn.

Both players checked the {8-Hearts} river and Brown announced "Eight". Guo didn't react until Brown showed his {A-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a pair of eights. Guo flashed the {A-Diamonds} before he mucked and Brown took down the pot.

Wong Rivers Lee

Level 19 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Hold'em

Mack Lee opened to 24,000 from the hi-jack and Jerry Wong called from the big blind.

The flop fell {4-Clubs}{A-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Wong checked to Lee who bet 12,000. Wong called and checked the {Q-Spades} on the turn as Lee bet out 24,000.

Again Wong called, and when the {5-Hearts} landed on the river, both players checked.

Lee tabled his {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for top pair, but it would be Wong's {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for a rivered two pair that would earn him the pot.

Level 20 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Jerry Wong opened with a raise from under the gun before Brian Rast reraised from the next seat over. The action folded back around to Wong who called.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Wong checked. Rast bet. Wong called.

The turn brought the {2-Spades} and once again Rast bet. Wong check-called.

The {2-Hearts} completed the board and Wong opted to check for a third time. Rast bet. Wong called.

Rast then tabled {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for two pair and an ace-four low. Wong stared at the hand for a moment before finally revelaing his {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. With that hand, Wong took the high half, with a better two pair.
