Bill Klein Doubles Harold Evans Up

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

In the last hand before dinner Harold Evans opened from middle position and Bill Klein three-bet. Evans called and then moved all in on a {10-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop for 8,300.

Klein had a healthy stack — around 30,000 — and eventually called. His opponent showed {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for two overs and an open-ended straight draw, and Klein was ahead for the time being with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds}. "Gosh darnit," said Klein. "I had him with the call."

The river was the {2-Clubs} and Evans doubled up.
