Deeb Doubles Through Hellmuth

Level 16 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised from the hijack, Shaun Deeb called all in for 9,000 total from the cutoff, and the blinds got out of the way.

Deeb: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Hellmuth: {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Deeb was in the lead, although Hellmuth picked up a flush draw on the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. Hellmuth gained more outs as he picked up a straight draw on the {5-Diamonds} turn. The river came the {8-Clubs}, and Deeb faded Hellmuth's outs to double up.

Terrence Chan Wins Without Showdown

Level 16 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Terrence Chan raised the hijack, and Joe McKeehen three-bet the button. Chan called.

The turn was the {8-Spades}, and Chan bet. This time, McKeehen raised, and Chan called. The river was the {2-Clubs}, and Chan checked. McKeehen bet, Chan raised, and McKeehen folded.

Chan and Talarico Chop a Big One

Level 16 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised from under the gun, Jared Talarico called from the hijack, Terrence Chan three-bet from the cutoff, Ben Yu four-bet from the big blind, Hellmuth folded, and Talarico and Chan called.

On the {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, Yu led out, Talarico called, Chan raised, and Yu and Talarico called.

It was checked to Chan, who bet on the {Q-Hearts} turn, and Talarico was the only caller.

Both players checked the {9-Spades} river.

Chan showed {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for a pair of jacks, as did Talarico, who revealed {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}, and they chopped the pot.

"Two very good hold'em players," said Hellmuth.

McKeehen cheked, and Hellmuth bet. McKeehen called. The turn was the {3-Diamonds}, and McKeehen check-called another bet from Hellmuth. Both players checked the {2-Hearts} river, and Hellmuth called out, "Ace-king."
