Glaser Flops a Monster

Level 9 : 400/800, 0 ante

It was folded around to Benny Glaser in the cutoff, who raised to 2,000, and only the small blind called.

On the {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop, the small blind check-folded to Glaser's 2,400 bet.

Glaser couldn't help but show his {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for the flopped nuts with a straight to go along with bottom set and an inside straight flush draw, to boot.

Koliakoudakis Quadruples Up

Level 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

The player under the gun raised to 1,500, a player in early position called, as did a middle-position player and the hijack. Roussos Koliakoudakis was on the button and moved all in for 7,225. Everyone called except the player in middle position.

The flop was {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, and the player under the gun bet 20,000. Everyone folded, and he tabled {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}. Koliakoudakis showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and was well ahead with a flush draw backup.

The turn was the {3-Hearts} and the river the {j-Diamonds}, and Koliakoudakis took it down with an ace-high flush.

Racener Trips Up Opponent

Level 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

On an {A-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, the small blind checked to John Racener in the hijack, who bet 1,900 and was called.

The action was the same on the {4-Clubs} turn, except the bet was for 2,600.

Both players checked the {8-Spades} river.

Racener turned over {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for trip fours with an ace-king kicker and took down the pot when his opponent mucked.

Hellmuth and Taylor Chop it up

Level 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

Phil Hellmuth limped in from early position. The cutoff called, as did Thomas Taylor in the small blind, and the big blind checked his option.

On the {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, it was checked to Hellmuth, who bet 1,400. The cutoff folded, Taylor raised to 5,200, and the big blind got out of the way. Hellmuth immediately announced all in for around 17,000 total, and Taylor called just as quickly.

Hellmuth: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Taylor: {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

Both players flopped a straight for the nuts, and each had redraws. Hellmuth had a flush draw, while Taylor had an inferior flush draw and a straight draw.

The {A-Hearts} on the turn changed nothing, nor did the {9-Diamonds} on the river, and the players chopped the pot.

Waxman Washes One

Level 7 : 250/500, 0 ante

Matt Waxman had a player all in and at risk preflop for around 4,000 in chips.

Waxman: {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Opponent: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{A-}, and Waxman's two pair was good to knock out his opponent.
