Kings For Scott Davies

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Scott Davies

There was an open to 6,000 from late position. Scott Davies three-bet from the big blind to 18,000 and the opener called.

The flop was {6-Spades}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Davies led for 12,000 and got a call. The turn was the {9-Hearts} and Davies moved all in for 26,000 which covered his opponent.

The player thought for some minutes before calling and showing {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}. Davies was ahead with his {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}, but needed to fade a king or an eight.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Davies busted his opponent to collect a nice pot.

Garrett Crites Scoops a Big One

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

With just 15,000 in the pot on a board reading {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Garrett Crites managed to get his chips in the middle against the small blind. Crites' opponent had about 85,000 behind and he had over 200,000.

The small blind tabled {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for two pairs, and Crites showed {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for top pair with top kicker.

The turn was the {9-Clubs} and the river was the {9-Hearts}, giving Crites a bigger two pairs to send his opponent to the rail.

"I just knew that was coming," laughed Stanley Lee.
