Ortynskiy Quarters Ferguson

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

On a final board of {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Viatcheslav Ortynskiy bet 140,000 from middle position and Chris Ferguson was thinking things over from the big blind. Apparently, the Russian had raised preflop to 50,000 and then gotten one bet of 40,000 in on the turn. Ferguson decided to call and Ortynskiy showed {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a flush and an ace-three low. Ferguson also had ace-three with {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, so he got a quarter of the pot.

Exposure and a Penalty

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Damjan Radanov potted the small blind for most of his chips and Bruce Yamron slid in chips and turned over his hand which looked like a bunch of middling cards. The only problem was that Radanov wasn't all in. Yamron quickly realized his mistake and recovered his holding, but Radanov had gotten a glimpse of his cards.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Radanov could only laugh.

"I shouldn't have looked," he said. "I saw some, I didn't see all of them."

With a sigh, he checked. Yamron checked back and the turn was a {10-Spades}. Radanov checked again with a laugh.

"I saw those two," he said.

Yamron bet and Radanov folded, with Radanov saying he knew jack-nine was in Yamron's hand.

The tournament supervisor ruled a two-hand penalty would be assessed. The players asked for a higher ruling and the penalty was confirmed.

Zaichenko Doubles through Henson

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Andrey Zaichenko raised pot to 84,000 from the hijack and Ray Henson re-potted to 289,000 from the button, leaving himself just 31,000 behind. The blinds folded and Zaichenko called all in for his 124,000.

Zaichenko: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}
Henson: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Zaichenko doubled to nearly 300,000 while Henson dropped to under 200,000.

Sean Remz Eliminated in 15th Place ($19,313)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Sean Remz - 15th place
Sean Remz - 15th place

From the button, Sean Remz raised to 70,000 and Bryce Yockey called in the big blind.

The flop fell {K-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Yockey bet out 150,000 before Remz moved all in for slightly more. Yockey called, and the cards were tabled.

Yockey: {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}
Remz: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Yockey was in the lead with his bottom two pairs, but Remz had outs to clubs and a higher two pairs.

The turn and river of the {Q-Hearts} and {8-Diamonds} however wouldn't help Remz and he was eliminated in 15th place for a $19,313 payday.

Hoang Scoops Arieh

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Three players saw a {6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop for the minimum, and action checked to Josh Arieh, who bet 35,000 in middle position. Only small blind Kate Hoang continued. She check-called another 85,000 on the {3-Diamonds} turn, and both checked the {2-Hearts} river.

Hoang tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for aces up and a five-ace for low, and that was a scooper.

Flush for Krueger

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

The action folded to Quentin Krueger in the small blind and he limped in, then Ray Henson checked the big. The flop landed {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Krueger check-called a 20,000-chip Henson bet. The {3-Hearts} and {J-Hearts} on the turn and river were then checked through.

Krueger tabled his {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a flush and Henson mucked.
