Three-Quarters to Bleznick

Level 4 : 200/400, 0 ante

Jared Bleznick was in the big blind and bet 15,000 into a pot of just over 16,000 on a {3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Spades} board. An opponent on the button called, seeing a {7-Hearts} river. Bleznick shoved all in and his opponent sighed and called, showing {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs} for jacks and the nut low. Bleznick had {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for jacks up and the nut low, giving him three-quarters.

Deeb said he liked the hand shown down by Bleznick's opponent.

"You want to run it 100 times?" Bleznick asked. "I'll take my hand."

Deeb said he was talking about the flop, while Bleznick said he was talking about the turn.

Nicholas Seiken Finds an Ace on the River to Stay Alive

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Mark Herm had a T$1,000-chip in front of him in late position and Nicholas Seiken raised to 2,100 in the cutoff. Tommy Chen, who just came second in the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Championship, called on the button. The blinds folded and Herm came along.

The flop was {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Herm checked. Seiken bet 6,000, Chen called, and Herm folded. They went heads up to the {9-Diamonds} turn and Seiken went all in for around 3,000. Chen snap-called and was in good position to scoop and eliminate Seiken.

Chen: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Seiken: {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Chen had the nut low along with a set of sixes for the best high, but the {A-Clubs} river gave Seiken aces full of sixes to chop it up.

Scott Bohlman Flops a Set, Turns a Low

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Scott Bohlman was one of four players to limp into the pot. He was on the button and the flop came {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

Naoya Kihara bet 900 and Bohlman raised to 3,000. Kihara called. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Kihara checked. Bohlman bet 6,000 and Kihara called.

The river was the {j-Spades} and Kihara checked again. Bohlman bet 12,000 and Kihara called. Bohlman showed {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Kihara mucked.

Ortynskiy Scoops a Big One

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Alan Sternberg was in the small blind and bet 6,000, slightly under half of the pot, on a completed board of {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts}. One player called from under the gun and Viatcheslav Ortynskiy dropped in 20,000 from middle position. Sternberg thought briefly and folded, but the second player took about two minutes and then called.

Ortynskiy rolled over {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} for the nut flush and the second-nut low. That was good for a scoop.

David "ODB" Baker
David "ODB" Baker

In a six-way limped pot, the flop came {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts} and the blinds checked. David "ODB" Baker bet 1,200 under the gun, the next player folded, and Dylan Linde called in middle position. The next player in late position folded and the blinds folded, making it heads up.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Baker checked. Linde bet 2,600 and Baker called. On the {3-Hearts} river, Baker checked and Linde bet 6,500. Baker thought it over for a minute, said some possible hands Linde could have out loud, and then he called.

Linde had {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for quad sixes and Baker's {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} was good for the low and half the pot.

Steely Eliminates Hoang

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

There was about 10,000 each in front Chuc Hoang and Chase Steely in a battle of the blinds and Hoang potted almost all in on {3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. Steely put him in for the rest and Hoang rolled over {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a flush and a six-low. However, Steely had {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for the nuts both ways. The river was a {9-Diamonds} and Hoang chuckled and told Steely he thought he had the {a-Clubs} before taking his leave.

Action folded to Matt Glantz in the small blind and he raised to 800. Joe Tehan called in the big and the flop came {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Glantz bet 1,400 and someone at the table said he could make it 1,600.

"But I bet 1,400," Glantz clarified.

"But you could have made it 1,600," joked tablemate Randy Ohel.

Tehan called the 1,400 and they both checked the {9-Spades} turn. The river was the {5-Spades}. Glantz bet 2,000 this time and Tehan called.

"Six-high," Glantz announced and showed {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for the nut low. Tehan's {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{8-} was good for the high and they chopped it up.
