Karapanos Busts Andrejevic

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Andjelko Andrejevic
Andjelko Andrejevic

On a flop of {6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}, Andjelko Andrejevic got his stack in after a bet of Michail Karapanos and the latter called to put Andrejevic at risk.

Andjelko Andrejevic: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Michail Karapanos: {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The {J-Hearts} turn didn't change anything, but the {4-Spades} river gave Karapanos a flush to eliminate Andrejevic in 25th place. All remaining players will now redraw to the last three tables and move rooms.

Chip Changes on Table 609

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Murat Tulek is no longer a big stack over on Table 609. On the contrary, the German just slipped to below average status after losing a hand against Tommy Le while Scott Clements has taken over the lead.

On the {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} turn, Le bet 110,000 and Tulek called. The {5-Spades} river was checked by both, then Le showed {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a straight and Tulek mucked.

Scott Clements Chips Up With a Straight Flush

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Scott Clements
Scott Clements

With about 300,000 chips already in the middle and the board reading {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, Scott Clements checked from middle position to his lone opponent, Murat Tulek in the hijack, who checked behind.

The {A-Spades} fell on the river and Clements bet 125,000. After a few moments of thought, Tulek raised to 277,000. Clements came over the top for 800,000 and Tulek quickly called.

Clements instantly flipped over {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for the jack-high straight flush. Tulek showed {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for the king-high flush and Clements took the pot to put himself firmly in the chip lead.

Tsang and Miller Eliminated

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

The action remains very fast-paced. Just now both Yan Shing Tsang and Ryan Miller joined the list of early casualties to reduce the field to 25.

Tsang was all in before the flop with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Tommy Le had him dominated with the {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. After a board of {K-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Tsang was eliminated and headed to the rail.

At the same time, a big pot was developing one table over. John Racener raised to 46,000 from the hijack and Chris Lee three-bet to 168,000 from the cutoff. Ryan Miller called with 265,000 behind on the button while Racener folded.

On a flop of {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, the remaining chips of Miller went in and he showed {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for kings and a flush draw. Lee had {A-Diamonds}{A-}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-} and faded the flush draw thanks to two blanks on turn and river, stopping Miller's tournament run.

Racener Gets a Fold from Lee

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

With a substantial pot of about 240,000 already brewing and the completed board reading {J-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}, John Racener bet 95,000 into his lone opponent, Chris Lee. After a few moments of thought, Lee folded, and Racener took the pot.

A Double and a Bustout

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

On the heads-up flop of {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{7-Hearts}, the stack of Michael Kamran went into the middle of the table and Sean Rafael looked him up with the superior stack.

Michael Kamran: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Sean Rafael: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The {10-Diamonds} turn and {7-Diamonds} river changed nothing whatsoever and Kamran doubled for 387,000.

Moments later, Yuriy Boyko was all in and at risk preflop and found a caller in Cyrus Partow.

Yuriy Boyko: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Cyrus Partow: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}

"I would wish you good luck, but I don't want to lie," Partow said before the showdown proceeded. The board came {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and Boyko asked "the kings win?" which was confirmed. Boyko tapped the table and left with a "good luck, guys."

Johnny Lodden Doubles Through Jason DeWitt

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Johnny Lodden
Johnny Lodden

With about 110,000 already in the middle and the board reading {Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}, Jason DeWitt bet 55,000 from the big blind and Johnny Lodden, who was under the gun, shoved for a total of 224,000. DeWitt went into the tank for around a minute before he ultimately called and the two players tabled their hands.

DeWitt: {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Lodden: {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

DeWitt had an open-ended straight draw and pair of sixes but Lodden had the best of it with two pair, queens and fives. The {Q-Clubs} on the turn gave Lodden a boat, leaving DeWitt in terrible shape, the {4-Spades} river changed nothing and Lodden took the pot to double up.

Egerer and Hoellein Next Casualties

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Two more players have joined the rail in quick succession.

First James Egerer was all in for around 265,000 and Oliver Weis had him covered by a few big blinds.

James Egerer: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Oliver Weis: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

The board came {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Weis won the pot with a set of aces, knocking out Egerer.

Then Jon Hoellein got it in against table neighbor Sean Rafael after just being moved over to a new table.

Jon Hoellein: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Sean Rafael: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

It was all over for Hoellein on the turn of a board {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and he headed to the rail.
