Norberto Korn
Norberto Korn

Barny Boatman opened to 42,000 from under the gun, Norberto Korn called from the next seat over, Simon Lam three-bet to 160,000 from the cutoff, Yaron Zeev Malki four-bet to 425,000 from the small blind, and Pierre Neuville tanked in the big blind for quite a while before he folded.

Boatman took some time as well before he folded, Korn five-bet shoved for 1,049,000, Lam folded, and Malki called.

Korn: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Malki: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The board came down {Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, giving Korn a king-high flush to double up into the chip lead.

Neuville said he folded {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}, Boatman said he folded {10-}{10-}, and Lam said he folded {A-}{K-}.

Barny Boatman Eliminated in 22nd Place ($16,889)

Pierre Neuville opened the action to 48,000 from the cutoff. Barny Boatman shoved 414,000 on the button, Norberto Korn reshoved from the small blind, and Neuville folded.

Norberto Korn: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Barny Boatman: {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Boatman had decent equity in the hand but needed to improve to stay alive. The {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop wasn't very forthcoming for the two-time WSOP bracelet winner.

"One more time," he asked the dealer, who failed to oblige by turning the {3-Diamonds}.

"One more time," Boatman asked again.

Once again, help for Boatman didn't arrive as the {8-Spades} landed on the river. Boatman finished in 22nd place and received $16,889.

With two big hands in a row, Korn is now the overwhelming chipleader with 3 million in chips.

From early position, Pascal Hartman had opened and Thomas Boivin had three-bet him one seat over. Hartman four-bet nearly all of his chips, Boivin went all in, and with the pay jump in sight, Hartman took some time before committing his final chips.

Hartman: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Boivin: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

Hartman was behind and needed to catch up but failed to do so on a {4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades} board.

With Hartman's exit in 19th place, all remaining players will redraw for the final two tables and are guaranteed at least $20,503.
