Wasserson Hits The Rail

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Eric Wasserson was all in before the flop, and he was called by four players, including Jake Schwartz.

On the {Q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop, action checked to a player in middle position. He bet and was called by two other players, while Schwartz folded. On the {9-Hearts} turn, the middle-position bettor checked, then check-raised a bet from another player. He and the other player went to the {7-Spades} river. The middle-position player bet again and was called.

The middle-position player showed {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{J-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, while the other player had {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Wasserson was holding {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{X-}, and he couldn't find a way to win the high or the low. He was eliminated from the tournament while the two other players chopped up his chips.

On fifth street, Mike Leah bet and got calls from two opponents. Leah fired again on sixth, then re-raised when one of his opponents raised. Leah called another re-raise, then another bet on seventh.

Leah tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a full house to take the high half, and his opponent showed {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs} to win the low.

Baker Triples; Kelsall in the Danger Zone

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Both Andrew Kellsall and David Baker started the hand with short stacks. Baker opened with a raise from middle position, and Andrew Kelsall made it three bets in position. The player in the small blind called, and Baker called all in, as well, for the remainder of his chips.

On the {2-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, the small blind continued with a bet, and Kelsall called. The turn was the {8-Hearts}, and the small bling bet again. Kelsall called. On the {2-Clubs} river, the small blind bet one more time, and Kelsall called again.

"I just have a full house," the small blind said. He showed {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, and Kelsall mucked, leaving himself with just 600 chips. Baker showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, and he earned a triple-up with a better full house.

Bye Bye, Baby

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Nguyen: {x-}{x-} / {K-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{A-Clubs} / {x-}

Scotty Nguyen just called the bring-in. Both players checked again on fourth street. On fifth street, the bring-in bet, and Nguyen called. The player bet again on sixth, and Nguyen called. On seventh, the bring-in bet one more time. Nguyen thought about it briefly.

"Okay, baby. You got it," Nguyen said as he called. The player showed {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for two pair with no low, and Nguyen mucked. He pushed open the double doors of the Amazon Room as he was eliminated from the tournament.

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Zinno: {x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Weinberger: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Anthony Zinno completed and was called by Joe Weinberger.

Zino checked on fourth street, and Weinberger bet. Zinno called. On fifth street, Zino checked again. Weinberger bet once more, and Zinno called. Zinno checked one more time on sixth, Weinberger bet, and this time, Zinno opted to fold.

"I had a pretty big straight draw," Weinberger said. He showed {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. "A straight with a redraw to a better straight and a low."

Zinno laughed, and the chips were pushed Weinberger's way.
