It's time for Day 2 of the chopped pot extravaganza that is Event #57: $2,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better/Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Mix.
After one day of play, plenty of headline-grabbers made their way towards the top of the chip counts, including online beast Alex Luneau, Igor Sharaskin who is as hot as almost anyone at the 2017 World Series of Poker, and Josh Arieh who is coming off of a near-miss as he finished third in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Championship.
Meanwhile Larry Tull returns to the chip lead today with 152,500, with David Matsumoto (124,900) and Sharaskin (112,600) the only other players with six-figure stacks to this point.
Those are some of the 126 remaining players who will return to their seats at 2 p.m. — if they plan to see the first card being dealt, anyway — for Day 2 of this event, with only a few tables of runners likely to see the second round of bags.
The plan for Day 2 is to play 10 more levels, each lasting one hour. They'll progress from 1,500/3,000 limits on to 10,000/20,000, with a few 15 minute breaks every couple of levels and a one-hour dinner break interspersed in there. During that time, we will see the money bubble burst when they event is down to 61 players, which should happen a few levels into the day.

Chidwick was drawing to a flush and wasted no time getting there as the was dealt to him. He finished out with the to make a low as well, while Guagenti got dealt and had to send his neighbor a double.
We came upon two players all in on fifth street with Matt Grapenthien putting them both at risk. By the time sixth street hit, the players had the following cards:

Grapenthien turned over a for quads on the river. Rein marveled at his , as he was now busto with aces full. We didn't see the third player's river card.

Lawrence Berg completed the bet with the showing and Alex Luneau raised with the . Timothy Batow made it three bets, showing the , and both of his opponents called.
Berg and Luneau hit well on fourth, with Luneau hitting the . He bet and Batow folded after bricking fourth with the . Berg called. Fifth street hit Luneau again with the and Berg caught the . Luneau bet and Berg called.
Luneau bet again on sixth when he caught the and Berg called with the . Luneau bet again on seventh, putting in his last 3,500 and Berg called. Luneau showed , giving him a seven-low with an ace-high flush. He scooped.
Jeff Lisandro got all his money in preflop and was at risk against three players. Everyone checked the flop, bringing a turn. Lawrence Fujii bet and got a call from Steven Loube. On the river, Fujii check-called a bet. Loube announced a flush, prompting Lisandro to muck. Loube showed , and Fujii took the low with for a live seven.
Bonnie Rossi bet into three opponents after picking up , having brought in for a complete bet on the first round. Two of them folded, but Ashton Griffin called and then put in a raise on fifth street, which Rossi called.

Griffin bet sixth and Rossi called, then both players checked on the end. Griffin announced two pair.
"I have aces up," Rossi said, turning over .
Griffin busted his last 4,000 moments later. At another table, Adam Stoller was eliminated in 26th. Players are redrawing to three tables.
Matt Grapenthien was the bring in with the and Samoeun Mon completed with the . Mon led fourth street and Grapenthien called. On fifth street, Mon check-called Grapenthien's all-in bet. Grapenthien ended up busting after failing to make a low and losing to the pair of aces held by Mon.
David Matsumoto was eliminated by Alex Luneau. Luneau's two pair was good for the high and he was able to dodge a better two pair on seventh to earn the elimination.
Down to just 8,000, William Klevitz got them in with but was up against an absolute monster in the held by Ryan Paluf. Paluf ran out with right away, giving Klevitz no real shot as he was dealt .
