Griffin and Eveslage Chop at Martin's Expense

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Chad Eveslage raised under the gun and got three-bet right away by Ashton Griffin. That didn't stop Jesse Martin from calling, and Eveslage made it three ways to the flop. Everyone checked and they did likewise on the turn for a final board of {3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Eveslage checked, Griffin bet, and Martin called. Eveslage made it two bets and Griffin called while Martin folded.

Eveslage showed {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a boat and a live four, but he only got half as Griffin had {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a live ace on the low.

Alex Luneau

Stud Hi-Lo

Alex Luneau: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} / {x-}
Lawrence Berg {x-}{x-} / {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{j-Spades}{q-Hearts} / {x-}
Timothy Batow: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} folded

Lawrence Berg completed the bet with the {5-Diamonds} showing and Alex Luneau raised with the {a-Diamonds}. Timothy Batow made it three bets, showing the {6-Hearts}, and both of his opponents called.

Berg and Luneau hit well on fourth, with Luneau hitting the {2-Diamonds}. He bet and Batow folded after bricking fourth with the {k-Diamonds}. Berg called. Fifth street hit Luneau again with the {3-Diamonds} and Berg caught the {j-Spades}. Luneau bet and Berg called.

Luneau bet again on sixth when he caught the {7-Diamonds} and Berg called with the {q-Hearts}. Luneau bet again on seventh, putting in his last 3,500 and Berg called. Luneau showed {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, giving him a seven-low with an ace-high flush. He scooped.

Bonnie Rossi Scoops

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Bonnie Rossi: {x-}{x-} / {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} / {x-}
Yuval Bronstein: {x-}{x-} / {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} / {x-}
Jesse Martin: {x-}{x-} / {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} / {x-}

Yuval Bronstein brought in with the {3-Hearts} and Bonnie Rossi completed with the {4-Hearts}. Jesse Martin raised the {4-Clubs} and both Bronshtein and Rossi called.

Fourth street paired Bronshtein and he led. Rossi and Martin called. Fifth street seemed to brick everyone. Bronshtein bet again and Rossi and Martin called.

On sixth, Bronshtein hit the {8-Spades} and bet again. Rossi his the {7-Spades} and called, and Martin paired with the {2-Diamonds}. He also called.

Bronsthein had exactly enough for the seventh street bet. Rossi called and Martin folded.

Bronstein showed an eight low and a pair of threes, which Rossi could beat both ways. She showed {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}, giving her a pair of sixes for the high and a seven low. She scooped the pot and sent Bronshtein to the rail.

Ross Still Climbing

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Its been quite the run up the counts for Mike Ross, who was one of the shorter stacks near the bubble but is quite healthy now, at least as far as limit tournaments go.

In one recent pot, Ross and Bonnie Rossi saw sixth street with Rossi paired on board with aces.

Rossi: {x-}{x-}/{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Ross: {x-}{x-}/{6-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

Both players checked. On the end, Ross bet and Rossi called.

"Full house," Ross said, tabling {6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for deuces full. Rossi showed aces and sevens and mucked.

Steven Loube to Noah Bronstein 'It's Yours'

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Noah Bronstein was heads up with Steven Loube with the board reading {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts} and he bet. Loube raised and Bronstein called.

The river was the {k-Spades} and Bronstein bet. Loube thought for a moment and then threw three of his cards face up {10-}{9-}{8-}.

"It's yours," said Loube as he folded.

Ross Quarters Eveslage

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Mike Ross checked in the cutoff and called a bet from Chad Eveslage on a board of {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. Ross checked the {8-Spades} river as well and Eveslage checked back. Ross showed {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades} and that quartered Eveslage as he had {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for an identical low.
