Davies Dusted

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Scott Davies, who started out the day as one of the shortest survivors, sneaked into the money. Soon after, though, it was all over.

He got it in from the small blind with {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} up against the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} of under-the-gun player Andre Akkari.

It started out as a coin flip but wasn't after the flop: {J-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. The {K-Hearts} on the turn and {8-Hearts} on the river settled it; Davies was eliminated.
