Level 10 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

Niall Farrell opened to 35,000 from middle position and James Chen reraised to about 508,000 from the small blind. Oleksii Khoroshenin (with about 160,000 in the big blind) folded, and Farrell tanked for a little while before he reraised all in for about 700,000.

"I have to call," said Chen. "I didn't see your open."

Farrell: {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Chen: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The board came down {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, giving Chen nines and deuces to eliminate Farrell.

Greenberg Finds Lucky Double

Level 11 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Igor Kurganov opened under the gun for 47,000 and action folded to Larry Greenberg in the small blind. Greenberg pushed for 304,000 total and Rainer Kempe in the big blind went into the tank. The German contemplated his options for a bit before he let it go. Kurganov called instantly.

Larry Greenberg: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Igor Kurganov: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Greenberg doubled with his rivered straight.

Kurganov Doubles Through Winter

Level 11 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Igor Kurganov had an all-in raise in front of him in the small blind after someone opened on the button, and Sean Winter woke up with another jam in the big blind, covering Kurganov's 534,000.

Kurganov: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Winter: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

"Sorry, Sean," Kurganov said with a smile.

Sure enough, the flop came {7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, giving Kurganov aces. The turn and river were bricks, and he doubled through.

Phil Hellmuth

Dan Smith bet 140,000 from the button on a board of {7-Hearts}{10-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Phil Hellmuth woke up with an all-in check-raise for Smith's remaining 430,000.

"Not feeling chatty anymore, Phil?" Smith said with a sigh after some thought.

He mucked {k-Spades} face-up.

Schillhabel Clocked

Level 11 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

We found Stefan Schillhabel in the tank and on the button with the board reading {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Byron Kaverman had put a bet of 350,000 into the pot, which contained over 800,000 chips already. Haralabos Voulgaris called for a clock, and the tournament supervisor made his way over. Voulgaris said it had been over three minutes, so the 40-second clock was put on Schillhabel.

A little after the 10-second countdown started, Schillhabel mucked.
