Lodge Doubles Through Papazian

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #1: Guillaume Diaz raised to 255,000 from the cutoff and Alexandru Papazian called in the big blind. Papazian check-called a bet worth 340,000 on the {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop and the {K-Clubs} turn was checked through. On the {A-Spades} river, Papazian made it 750,000 to go and Diaz folded.

Hand #2: One hand later, Harry Lodge pushed for exactly 1,000,000 and Papazian asked for a count, then called in the small blind.

Lodge: {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Papazian: {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The Romanian rail was shouting for a king, but the board came {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs} instead to let Lodge double.
