Sion Calls Negreanu's River Bet

Level 22 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Daniel Negreanu limped from the small blind. Elior Sion checked his option from the big blind.

On the {9-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop, Negreanu checked to Sion, who bet 60,000. Negreanu called. The turn was the {3-Diamonds}, and both players checked to see the {6-Diamonds} on the river. Negreanu led out for 150,000 on that river, and after a few seconds of thought, Sion called.

Negreanu kept his hand face-down while Sion showed {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a flush.

"Yeah," Negreanu said. "I thought you had something like that." He mucked, and Sion took down the pot.
