Event #63: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Starts at 11 a.m.

Day 1 of the three-day Event #63: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em begins at 11:00 a.m. With just 10 events remaining before the Main Event, this will be one of the few remaining chances to win WSOP gold this summer.

Players in the event will start with 5,000 chips, playing 60-minute levels. There will be a 20-minute break every two levels and a 90-minute dinner break after Level 6 at around 5:40 p.m. Late registration will close after the end of the dinner break at approximately 7:10 p.m.

Last years winner Tony Dunst defeated Jason Rivkin heads up, outlasting a field of 2,452 to win $339,254 along with his first gold bracelet. That big field created a prize pool of $2,206,800 of which the top 368 finishers each collected a piece.
