Ryan Goindoo Eliminated in 27th Place ($6,718)

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

On the button, Ryan Goindoo open-shoved for 171,000. Mark Radoja instantly called in the big blind.

Goindoo: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Radoja: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

There was never a sweat for Radoja on {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Goindoo, from Trinidad and Tobago, had to part in 27th place. After dangling in the bottom half of the standings during the entire day, two-time WSOP bracelet winner Radoja finally has a stack to work with.

Laplante Leaves Deyra in Danger

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Ryan Laplante bet 18,000 on the turn of a {4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} board and Ivan Deyra check-called.

The river was the {j-Clubs} and Laplante bet 85,000, effectively enough to cover Deyra's remaining stack.

After a brief deliberation in the tank, Deyra mucked and Laplante was slid the pot.

Tomas Soderstrom raised to 18,000 in early position. Demosthenes Kiriopoulos shoved 86,000 in late position. Chris Moorman tanked in the big blind, asked for a count of Soderstrom's stack, then made the call. Soderstrom folded right away.

Kiriopoulos: {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Moorman: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

No help for Kiriopoulos on {7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs} and he was out in 26th.

Shorr Catches Laplante Bluffing to Double

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

With a board of {5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} in front of them and a pot about 150,000 in size, Ryan Laplante bet enough to cover Shannon Shorr, making it 150,000. Shorr thought for a few moments before making the call.

Laplante tabled {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} but wasn't good enough as Shorr turned over {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Shorr had 132,000 behind and Laplante paid the double up.

Ashly Butler raised to 28,000 from the cutoff. Ivan Deyra shoved around 100,000 from the button, Ryan Laplante reshoved from the blinds, covering both players. Butler tanked and folded, leaving himself with 80,000 behind.

Deyra: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Laplante: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades}

"I folded ace-queen-jack-jack," said Butler.

The flop was absolutely devastating to Deyra: {K-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

"That'll do it," remarked Laplante casually.

The {9-Hearts} on the turn and {9-Diamonds} on the river were just for the statistics. Deyra was the last player to receive $6,718.

Ashly Butler opened, Esther Taylor raised pot, Butler moved all-in for a little more and Taylor called, putting him at risk.

Butler: {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Taylor: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Taylor scored an easy knockout, adding a healthy chunk to her chip stack.

Butler received $8,137 for his 24th place finish.
