Hands #97-99: Schiff Wins a Monster Pot

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Emile Schiff
Emile Schiff

Hand #97: Emile Schiff received a walk.

Hand #98: Schiff called from the small blind, and Ben Zamani checked his option. Both players checked the whole way with the board reading {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Schiff tabled {q-Spades}{5-Clubs} and won the pot.

Hand #99: Schuyler Thornton raised to 190,000, and Schiff three-bet to 475,000 from the button. Chris Klodnicki four-bet to 1,180,000, forcing Thornton out of the pot. Schiff called.

The flop came {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Klodnicki bet 650,000, and Schiff called. The turn was the {k-Hearts}, and Klodnicki bet 725,000. Schiff called again, and the {a-Spades} fell on the river. Klodnicki bet 850,000, and Schiff moved all in for just under 2,000,000. Klodnicki started shaking his head and pushed his hand to the muck.

Schiff raked in a massive pot and now holds a huge chip lead.
