Four-of-a-kind hands have been running rampant throughout the 2017 WSOP Main Event. Matthias De Meulder recently jumped on the bandwagon to make some quads of his own and move up to nearly a million chips.

De Meulder opened with {8-}{8-} from under the gun, and both the cutoff and small blind called.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, and the small blind bet out 13.000. De Meulder called, and the cutoff folded. De Meulder filled up on the {4-Diamonds} turn, and the small blind check-called 28,000 from the Belgian. De Meulder improved to quads on the {8-} river, and the small blind checked again. This time, De Meulder opted for a bet of 54,000 and got the value he was looking for as his opponent called him down.
