Hot Start for Porter

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante
Rep Porter
Rep Porter

Rep Porter had already added about 30,000 to his starting stack when we saw him take down another pot. He was heads up with another opponent on a flop of {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, and after it was checked to him, Porter fired 1,100. He was quickly called, and both players would check the {9-Spades} turn.

The {J-Hearts} came on the river, and after a third check from his opponent, Porter bet out 2,000. His opponent quickly called, but she mucked after Porter rolled over {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for top pair of aces.
