Scott Blumstein raised to 250,000 in middle position, and Scott Stewart called on the button. Max Silver moved all in from the big blind for just over 10 big blinds. Blumstein moved all in over the top, and Stewart quickly released his cards.

Max Silver: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

"Sevens are my lucky hand," Silver said to Blumstein, but he found no help on the {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} board.

After finishing in 33rd place last year ($216,21), it's now a 45th-place finish for Silver, worth $176,399.

Alexandre Reard opened to 265,000 in middle position and got action from Max Silver on his immediate left.

Reard checked the {3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop. Silver bet 240,000, and Reard called. The French player check-called 660,000 on the {3-Clubs} turn, and the river brought the {8-Diamonds}.
