Tardif announced, "I have a deuce." and then flipped over his hand showing 
and began to apologize immediately to his opponent who had still held onto his cards. After he saw the ace high, he mucked anyway and Tardif celebrated the victory. Tardif also mentioned he doubled up with aces a couple hands previously and it shows with his new chip count.
