A Lucky Chop for David Bagheri

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Antonio Graham raised to 70,000 from under the gun, Huihan Wu called from the button, and David Bagheri called from the big blind.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, and Bagheri jammed for about 380,000. Graham called to put Bagheri at risk, and Wu folded.

Graham: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Bagheri: {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}

Bagheri had flopped top pair but was far behind Graham's pocket queens and needed help from the deck to stay alive. The {10-Diamonds} turn and {9-Hearts} river meant the two players chopped the pot with identical queen-high straights.

Russo Takes From Pantaleo

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Action started with Stephen Russo raising to 90,000 from early position. Giuseppe Pantaleo was the only caller from the small blind.

They went heads-up to a {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop. Both players checked, and the {A-Hearts} hit the turn. A second check from Pantaleo drew a bet of 100,000 from Russo. Pantaleo dropped in a green 100,000 chip for the call, and the {7-Spades} completed the board. Pantaleo checked one more time, and Russo assembled a big bet of 275,000. It was nearly half of Russo's chips, and Pantaleo tanked for about a minute before conceding the hand to Russo.

Russo Scores Massive Double Through Pantaleo

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Giuseppe Pantaleo raised to 80,000 from middle position, and Stephen Russo three-bet to 315,000 from the big blind. Pantaleo four-bet jammed, putting Russo to a decision for the remainder of his stack, which was about 720,000, and he went into the tank. After several minutes, he eventually called to put himself at risk.

Pantaleo: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
