Hargrave Sends One to an Early Dinner

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Johnathan Hargrave
Johnathan Hargrave

A player opens with a raise to 2,400. Action folds to the cutoff where Johnathan Hargrave calls. The big blind calls as well.

The flop was {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and the big blind checked to the original raiser who continued with a bet of 3,000. Hargrave called while the big blind folded.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and the early position player continued with a bet of 7,000. Hargrave called once more.

On the {10-Diamonds} river, the player moved all in for right around 15,000 and Hargrave snap-called. Hargrave showed his {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a rivered flush and the player could only show {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for two pair. With that, Hargrave took down the pot and moved over 100,000 chips.

Viscoso Flushed Out

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On a flop of {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} the player in the big blind checked followed by the player in the cutoff. Valentina Viscoso was on the button and bet 5,700. The big blind then raised to 16,000 which forced the cutoff out. Viscoso swiftly moved all in for 30,000 and was called relatively quickly.

Valentina Viscoso: {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Viscoso had flopped a flush and was up against her opponent who was drawing to the nut-flush.

The {j-Diamonds} on the turn would indeed bring a fourth diamond guaranteeing Viscoso's opponent the higher flush and the winning hand.

The meaningless {10-Spades} completed the board and Viscoso was sent to the rail.

Pampliega Shows the Bluff

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Luis Pampliega raised to 2,500 from the button. His opponent in the small blind, almost beat him to the pot, before he raised to 7,500.
The action fell back on Pampliega who thought for a moment before moving all in for 21,800.

Pampliega's opponent didn't call straight away and instead went into the tank for over a minute before releasing his hand.

Pampliega then tabled his {3-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a bluff before he raked in the pot.

Lowrie Bust Agosta to Move Over 100k

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On a board of {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Zac Lowrie was holding {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a rivered straight against Nathan Agosta. Agosta was holding {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} and his aces had been cracked. Agosta was all in and Lowrie had called with a covering stack, so the chips were sent Lowries way and he raked in the pot to move over 100,000 chips.

Abdine Continuing To Chip Up

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Action folded to the hijack seat who raised to 2,500 and Shivan Abdine defended with a call in the big blind.

The flop was {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Abdine checked. The hijack player put out a bet of 2,600 and Abdine called.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and both players checked. They checked again on the {Q-Spades} river. Abdine showed down his {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for king-high and it was good enough to earn him the pot to push him over 90,000 chips.

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Daniel Laidlaw
Daniel Laidlaw

Daniel Laidlaw raised to 2,200 from middle position and was called by the player seated to his left.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{a-Spades} and Laidlaw bet 2,000. His opponent called.

The turn fell the {2-Hearts} and Laidlaw continued for 6,500.

"What man?" said Laidlaw's opponent, addressing the dealer with the question.

Some small talk between Laidlaw and his opponent passed the time before a fold was finally found and Laidlaw was awarded the pot.

Hopkins Jams the River and Gets a Fold

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Action was on the turn with a board of {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs} showing. James Hopkins was facing off against one player who was in the cutoff. The player checked over to Hopkins, who was on the button, and Hopkins put out a bet of 6,500 into a pot of roughly 11,000. The player called.

The river was the {9-Spades} and the cutoff player put out a bet of 12,000. Hopkins made a face and dropped into the tank. He thought for a little bit, then decided to raise, moving all in for nearly 50,000. The player leaned back, showed his {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} then folded, so Hopkins took down the pot with no showdown, chipping him back up to around 80,000.

Higgs Runs Into One

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Sam Higgs had one opponent all in and at risk before the flop. The player was on the button with a stack of 24,700 and Higgs had a covering stack.

Sam Higgs: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} leaving Higgs looking for running diamonds or sevens but the {9-Spades} on the turn left him drawing dead. The river was the {4-Clubs} but it was just a formality and Higgs was forced to send over nearly 25,000 to his opponent.
