Martinelli Wins Big Off Damelian

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

A large amount of chips had built up in the pot and the board read {a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} by the river.

Rob Damelian checked from the big blind before Luke Martinelli bet 600,000 from the button.

Damelian tanked for a few minutes then called.

Martinelli confidently tabled {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for two pair and took down the pot after Damelian mucked his hand.

Forrester Doubles Through Maurangelos

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

The action folded around to Barry Forrester in the small blind who raised to 100,000. Dion Maurangelos called from the big blind.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Forrester checked. Maurangelos bet 100,000. Forrester called.

The turn fell the {7-Diamonds} and Forrester checked once again. Maurangelos fired out 150,000. Forrester then moved all in for 635,000 which sent Maurangelos into the tank.

A few minutes passed before Maurangelos became chatty.

"How you feeling?" Maurangelos asked Forrester, who sat motionless from the moment he moved all in.

Maurangelos took a moment longer before finally making the call.

Forrester casually turned over his {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a set of tens and Maurangelos reluctantly flipped over {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for top pair and was drawing dead.

The meaningless {j-Diamonds} completed the board and Forrester doubled up.
