On a flop of {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} the player in the small blind checked as did Antonis Kambouroglou on the button.

The turn came the {2-Spades} and the small blind bet 4,000. Kambouroglou called.

As soon as the {a-Spades} dropped on the river the small blind bet out 30,000 which had Kambouroglou's stack of 18,500 covered. Kambouroglou thought for a moment then slid his stack in for a call.

"Queen-high," said Kambouroglou's opponent, before tabling {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.

Kambouroglou then rolled over his {9-Spades}{6-Spades} confidently and took down the pot with two pair.

Young Whan Chung has taken out the first player in today's field, Joe Souglia, to take the early chip lead.

In a blind versus blind battle both Chung and Souglia moved all in preflop.

Chung had pocket aces and had Souglia's pocket kings crushed.

No drama ran out on the board and Chung was left to rake in the pot sending Souglia to the rail early in proceedings.
