Pooley Plays Favourite Hand

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

The player in middle position moved all in for 7,075 and was called by Shelly Pooley in late position. The player on the button then moved all in for 24,675 before the decision fell back on Pooley.

"You're going to think I'm bat s**t crazy," said Pooley, before sliding in the chips to make the call.

Pooley: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
MP: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Button: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

"I have it tattoed on my leg," Pooley added. "The exact suit too," she added as the dealer worked out the side pots.

The board then ran out {8-Hearts}{j-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} to see Pooley win the large side pot. The player in middle position won himself the main pot to move to just above 20,000 and the player on the button was sent to the rail after Pooley spiked a jack on the flop to win with a pair.

Level 7 : 300/600, 50 ante

Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Vakili found himself behind with his flush draw against his opponents two pair. The {5-Clubs} didn't help Vakili as he dropped to only a handful of big blinds.
