Fitzgerald Eliminated by Liu

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 2,000 ante

On a flop of {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} Maurice Fitzgerald committed his stack and was at risk against Kan Liu.

Kan Liu: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Maurice Fitzgerald: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Fitzgerald had flopped top pair but was behind to Liu's pocket aces. The {a-Spades} on the turn sealed Fitzgerald's fate having him drawing dead as the meaningless {7-Clubs} completed the board.

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 2,000 ante

Patrick Bowler moved all in for 117,000 from under the gun before the decision folded to Adam Ratten on the button. He thought for a minute before announcing all in which was enough to force the blinds out.

Adam Ratten: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Patrick Bowler: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{a-Clubs} to see Ratten hold with his pocket pair ending Bowler's day.

Ma Rising After Big Hang With Falon

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 2,000 ante

The board showed {3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and both Zhi Ma and Alex Falon added 200,000 each to what was already a huge pot.

After the {j-Spades} dropped on the river Falon checked. Ma reached for his chips and slid out 250,000. Falon called shortly after.

Ma then tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a rivered set of jacks and took down the pot after Falon mucked his hand.

Battle of the Ryan's Should've Ended in a Chop But...

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

The player on the button raised to 40,000 before Ryan Morris re-raised to 100,000 from the small blind. Ryan Bownds was in the big blind and shipped it all in for 364,000. The original raiser folded. Morris called.

Ryan Bownds: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Ryan Morris: {a-}{k-}

Both players expected the pot to end in a chop but watched the board run out {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} giving Bownds a runner-runner flush to scoop the entire pot.

Zhi Ma: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Michelle Psarras: {q-}{q-}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} to see Ma collect the pot with quad aces sending Psarras to the rail.

Awerbuch Takes One Out

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Chad Awerbuch
Chad Awerbuch

The player in middle position moved all in for around 90,000 and was followed by Chad Awerbuch in the cutoff who had 165,000. Everyone else got out of the way and the two players tabled their cards.

Chad Awerbuch: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Opponent: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

It looked like Awerbuch's opponent would double with the pocket pair until the board ran out {9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} to see him spike a jack on the river giving him the winning hand.
