Wan Doubles; Continues Onslaught Following Hand

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The player under the gun raised to 6,000 before Vincent Wan re-raised to 19,000 from middle position. The player on the button then moved all in for 126,000. Marc Camphausen thought for a moment from the small blind before reluctantly releasing his hand. The original raiser folded. Wan took a moment before making the call with 121,100 behind.

Wan: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Opponent: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

"I had ace-king too," said Camphausen, after Wan tabled his hand.

"I had an ace as well," added the preflop raiser.

Just like that the dealer produced the {2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{a-Spades} flop revealing the case ace in the window to give Wan the lead.

The board ran out the {3-Hearts} then {2-Hearts} to see Wan scoop the pot to see him rise to 260,000.

The following hand Wan opened to 6,500 from under the gun plus one and was called by the player in the hijack. The player in the cutoff went all in for his last 5,000.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Wan continued for 8,000. His opponent called.

Both players checked the {3-Hearts} on the turn before the {2-Clubs} completed the board.

Wan fired out 13,000 and was called shortly after.

Wan tabled {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} for the highest pair and scooped the pot after both his opponent's mucked their hands.

Saunders Slow Plays a Monster

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Trevor Saunders limped in from under the gun before the action folded around to the player on the button. He opted to move all in for 53,000 which forced the blinds out. Saunders made the quick call with more behind.

Saunders showed {a-}{k-} and had his opponent crushed holding {a-}{j-}.

The board would brick out awarding Saunders the knockout and the pot.
