O'Farrell Pushes off Hassan on River

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante
Huss Hassan
Huss Hassan

Huss Hassan and Ireland's Brian O'Farrell played a decently sized pot, with O'Farrell making it 850 to go from the big blind when Hassan limped the button. Hassan responded with a re-raise to 2,500 and O'Farrell made the call.

The {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop saw O'Farrell check the action over to Hassan, who fired out a bet of 1,800. O'Farrell reached for chips, but not for calling with, check-raising to 4,500 in total. After mulling it over in between bites of a tasty looking burger, Hassan pushed out the call and it was off to the {3-Clubs} turn.

This saw O'Farrell lead for 7,700 and Hassan made the call once more to bring in the {6-Diamonds} river. This saw O'Farrell move all-in for ~12,400 and Hassan tanked some more, before deciding to wait for a better spot, mucking his hand and going back to his burger.

Tan Check-Raises for Victory

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

Andrian Chin opened the action with a pre-flop raise, picking up callers in the form of small blind Daniel Tan and big blind Jeff Lisandro. Both of these checked the {5-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop over to Chin, who fired out a continuation bet with both blinds making the call to swell the pot to 9,000.

The {5-Diamonds} turn was as far as the hand went. After Tan and Lisandro checked the action over to Chin he made it 3,800 to go and Tan check-raised another 10,000 on top, which was enough to get it done.

Kempson Gets Shove Through

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante
Corey Kempson
Corey Kempson

Corey Kempson has wasted little time building a stack and we caught him in action and all-in for 16,600 from the small blind on a board of {6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs} with 40,000 in the pot.

Kempson's opponent in the hand, seated on the button, was deep in the think tank but eventually gave it up, leaving Kempson free to scoop the pot and climb to 53,100.

Suchanek Trips Up Laoyont

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

The board showed {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} and 9,200 had amassed in the pot.

Both Jan Suchanek and Patrick Laoyont then checked after the {3-Clubs} emerged on the turn.

The {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Suchanek tossed out 5,000. Laoyont followed shortly after.

Suchanek tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for trip tens, and took down the pot, after Laoyont mucked his hand.

Amiri Flushes Kwok

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante
Ehsan Amiri
Ehsan Amiri

Yoonho Kwok limped from the cutoff and Ehsan Amiri raised it up from the button to 2,000 with Kwok the only caller.

Kwok checked the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop over to Amiri who continued for another 2,000, which was called with the turn coming down {j-Clubs}.

With 8,450 in the pot, both players played it coy and checked, with the {k-Hearts} river completing the hand and a possible heart flush.

Kwok checked for a third time and Amiri fired out a bet of 5,000. Kwok slid in the call, but could only muck when Amiri showed down {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for the flush to take the pot.

A Clash of Hands

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

Details related by Malcolm Trayner after the fact: A sizable pot when down between Wayne Lee and Feng Yu that saw both players make monster hands, though unfortunately for Yu, Lee's was bigger.

With the board reading {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and over 40,000 in the pot, Yu was holding {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the nut full house but was trailing to Lee's rivered {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{x-}{x-} straight flush.
