In getting the most recent chip counts, a couple had surprisingly changed radically during the time it took to complete a full circuit of the room - most notably I saw Daniel Negreanu raking in a pot from Mickey Wernick, with the English pro saying something along the lines of, "That's why you're the best, Daniel..." Whatever happened in that 10 minutes has propelled the popular player into what looks like the chip lead with 20,000. Others doing well:
