Play Has Ended

Play has come to an end here in Leicester Square just over 14 hours since we started. Two late eliminations means we have to play from 11 down to a winner tomorrow. Play will resume at 2.30pm local time.

This is thirty minutes before the third tournament in this series, the £5,000 PLO, starts. A few of our short stacks might use this time to try and spin up a big stack in an attempt to try and put themselves in a position to win this or try their luck at the PLO instead.

Phil Helllmuth Eliminated In 12th Place (£6,188)

With 30 seconds left on the clock, Sherkhan Farnood raised, and a now thoroughly angry Hellmuth, forgetting that they were playing limit, announced that he was all in and threw all his chips in the middle. Farnood agreed to raise to cover Hellmuth, and it was a coinflip.

Thus our day three will most likely be quieter than it might otherwise have been, as a livid Hellmuth leaves the table to complain about Farnood and the dealer to a gentleman holding a video camera.

Isaac Haxton Eliminated in 13th Place (£ 5,500)

Hold'em:

Isaac managed a short-lived comeback when he doubled up though Raul Paez in a blind battle, but Phil Ivey soon took care of him in a button versus big blind battle.

Hellmuth Threatened With Penalty

Continuing the late-night disastrous run, Phil Hellmuth is down to just 25,000 and has made the dealer cry. The TD has come over and attempted to smooth things over, explaining that the dealer has been working for 14 hours and that it isn't her fault, but the dealer is quite upset and Hellmuth is being threatened with a penalty for attacking the dealer if he doesn't cool off soon.

The dealer is now receiving a soothing massage from the TD, and with just three minutes left on the clock, it looks like things are going to be ok.

Isaac Haxton down to less than 10,000 after paying off Lededer who held two-pair on the end. He then said "Looks like I'll be playing PLO tomorrow!"

One player who'll be happy we're finishing early is Isaac Haxton. He's already stated to table mates he's feeling tired and this maybe affecting his decisions as he's just lost another pot to Yuval Bronshtein.

Haxton's final board read {4-Clubs}

Bronshtein bet out once more at the end and Haxton shook his head several times and made a call but mucked upon seeing his opponent's hidden {Q-Clubs}

for three queens.

Haxton short on 32,000. Bronshtein's hovering around 120,000.

Correct Procedure

After a series of disastrous hands, during which he has become increasingly worked up, Phil Hellmuth is down to 50,000 and it looks as though it might be approaching his bedtime. He has once again demanded that the TD's instruct the dealers in how to do their job according to, "Correct procedure," and has now wandered across to the other table to share his woe with Howard Lederer. "Might not make it 19 minutes, bud," he laments.

Albinsson on the Ropes

Disaster for Erik Albinsson as he is virtually felted by Sherkhan Farnood. Farnood bet all the way down to fifth street and called Albinsson's bet on sixth. Come seventh, which they both checked, Albinsson had just 3,800 behind when Farnood showed his hand, and Albinsson just mucked.

Albinsson: {7-Hearts}

However, Albinsson had a lucky double up courtesy of Farnood the very next hand, and the hand after that he was was doubled up again by Phil Hellmuth. He's currently hanging in with around 24,000.

Early Doors

TD's Steve and Charlie have had a word with the players about finishing early for the night. It's clear that we're not going to reach a final eight tonight, the question was just about when to stop play.

There were a few mixed feeling amongst the players but the end of this level seemed a good a time as any as that's the time agreed.
