Blackout

Stud:

Andy Black has just been eliminated from the tournament by Austrian pro Ivo Donev.

JJ Hazan was charged the bring-in showing the {4-Clubs}, and when the action folded around to Black he kicked it up to 300. Donev then reraised, making it 600 to play and all folded back around to Black, who made the call:

Black: [{A-?} {Q-?}] {J-Diamonds}
Donev: [{J-Spades} {9-Hearts}] {J-Hearts}

On fourth street, Donev picked up the {5-Spades} and led out with a 300 bet. Black, dealt the {4-Hearts}, opted to raise, making it 600 to play and Donev again called.

Black: [{A-?} {Q-?}] {J-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}
Donev: [{J-Spades} {9-Hearts}] {J-Hearts} {5-Spades}

Both players picked up threes on fifth Street, and both checked:

Black: [{A-?} {Q-?}] {J-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {3-Clubs}
Donev: [{J-Spades} {9-Hearts}] {J-Hearts} {5-Spades} {3-Spades}

On sixth, Donev fired a bullet after receiving the {A-Hearts}, at which point Black tossed his last three 25-denomination chips into the middle and was all in:

Black: [{A-?} {Q-?}] {J-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {2-Clubs}
Donev: [{J-Spades} {9-Hearts}] {J-Hearts} {5-Spades} {3-Spades} {A-Hearts}

The players' hands were then revealed and Black needed a five to stay alive. None came, however, as Donev drew a second nine for two pair and Black blanked out with a king.

After the hand, Donev stacked up right around 10,000 in chips.
