Day 2 is Over; Final Table Not Quite Over

After no-one could quite decide whether to play this out tonight or play the final table tomorrow as scheduled, the players and tournament staff came to a compromise, and we will be quitting for the night now and coming back tomorrow at 2pm for our final five to battle it out.

A short discussion/argument in which everyone wanted to start at 2pm except Men Nguyen who for some reason wanted to start at 1pm instead was won by the majority, and it seems that our remaining final tablists will all be trying their hand at multi-tabling tomorrow -- there has been discussion also of turning up at noon to play two hours of the PLO event before coming back to finish their PLO/PLH final table.

So far at this final table we have lost Howard Lederer, Ian Frazer, Hoyt Corkins and Chris Bjorin, in that order. Mats Gavatin, who amassed an enormous stack after knocking out Allie Prescott, Michel Abecassis and Nikolay Evdakov within about a minute to shrink the field to nine, remains chip leader, but Richard Gryko and Men Nguyen are hot on his tail.

The final half of our final table looks like so:

Seat 1: Men Nguyen -- 268,000
Seat 2: Mats Gavatin -- 448,000
Seat 3: Robin Keston -- 63,000
Seat 4: Richard Gryko -- 329,000
Seat 5: Erik Cajelais -- 81,000

We'll be back at final table from, as has now been definitely and finally decided, 2pm GMT+1. Join us then to see which of our deserving five goes home with a WSOPE bracelet.
