Dwan Raise My Blind!

Jani Vilmunen and his formerly gigantic stack have taken another beating, this time courtesy of chip-lead contender Tom Dwan.

Vilmunen, who must have been voted Most Likely To Raise Preflop at high school or something, did his favourite thing and stuck in a preflop raise; Dwan in the big blind was the only caller.

They saw a {J-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {7-Spades} flop and Dwan check-called the 18,000 continuation bet from Vilmunen. Both players opted to check the {6-Diamonds} turn, and they moved on to the river.

The river was the seemingly harmless {5-Spades}, but Dwan, after thinking about it for ages, now bet pot. Vilmunen folded, and the pot was his.
