Rosen Counterfeited

With the board reading {K-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, Jamie Rosen and one other player checked to Peter Jetten in last position. He fired 1,000 and only Rosen made the call to see the {K-Clubs} put two pair on the board on the river. Rosen checked and Jetten checked behind.

"Two high," announced Rosen.

"What?" questioned Jetten with surprise.

"Two high," repeated Rosen, flashing the {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

Jetten then tabled the winner with the {J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, having won the hand after the board double paired on the river to counterfeit Rosen.

The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Kongsgaard checked. Karamalikis bet 1,650 and Kongsgaard made the call to see the turn.

The turn was the {3-Hearts} and Kongsgaard checked again. Karamalikis took a moment and then bet out 3,300. Kongsgaard called.

The {6-Clubs} landed on the river and Kongsgaard checked a third time. After a brief pause, Karamalikis fired 4,900. Kongsgaard tanked and then made the call. Karamalikis tabled the {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for top pair and Kongsgaard mucked.

One more left to update.

Eames Wins Race to Stay Alive

Anton Wigg raised from the under the gun position to 500, action got folded to John Eames who three-bet to 1,350 with 8,675 chips behind. From the small blind November Nine bubble John Hewitt inquired about Eames's stack and than four-bet to 2.800. Wigg snap folded his cards and after a couple of seconds Eames decided to shove. Hewitt shrugged and called.

Chip Counts Left Hand Side of Majestic Room #1

Two more coming up right after this.

Matt Stout Gone

Right after the dinner break we saw Matt Stout get up from his table and leave the room. We could barely write down the board and got the rest of the action from Keven Stammen and David Benyamine.

Stout raised pre flop to 400 and Naselli called. The flop was {6-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Stout bet 600 which got raised to 1,800, he followed with the call. On the turn the {8-Diamonds} appeared and Stout checked to Naselli who bet 5,000. Stout moved all-in and got called by {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, his {K-}{J-} was drawing dead and Naselli raked in another pot. He now has 34,000 chips and is amongst the big stack in the room.

Selbst and Ascabi Having Fun

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante
Vanessa Selbst Now Up To 21,000
Vanessa Selbst Now Up To 21,000

Daniel Negreanu joined the table of Vanessa Selbst just before dinner, but it is Luca Ascabi who seems to want to tango with Selbst. The two of them exchanged several hands just before dinner with Ascabi seemingly getting the better cards. We just joined the action on a flop of {Q-Spades} {3-Clubs} {2-Clubs} and Selbst had checked out of the small blind and Ascabi had bet 1,025 from the cut-off. Selbst studied her opponent before check-raising to 2,600. Ascabi made facial expressions pertinent to a man with a weasel down his pants before making the call. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Selbst, with a stack size of 14,600, bet 3,600 and Ascabi tank-folded.

Rousso Knocked Back

After her opponent bet 1,600 on the {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, Vanessa Rousso raised to 3,200. Her opponent came back with a reraise to 10,600 and that sent Rousso into the tank. She thought for a bit and even began talking out loud to herself, mumbling about how she felt her opponent held ace-jack. Eventually, she mucked her hand and allowed her stack to take the hit.
