Williams Cracks Queens with Top Set

David Williams is up to about 27,000 in chips after just busting a player. All of the money went in on the {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop with Williams holding top set with the {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. His opponent had an overpair to the board with the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and river the {8-Diamonds}. Both of those kept Williams in front and earned him the pot.

Ville Vanquishes Duhamel

Jonathan Duhamel is a Goner
Jonathan Duhamel is a Goner

While watching Vanessa Selbst and Luca Ascabi trading blows we saw Jonathan Duhamel rise to his feet and shake the hand of Vainio Ville. Duhamel was holding {A-} {Q-} and Ville was holding {K-} {10-} and the board was displaying a ten. Duhamel was eliminated and Ville now has 28,000.

Benyamine Keeps Losing

The pile of chips in front of David Benyamine consists of no more than a few chips. Thinking we made a mistake counting after he folded the second nut flush we asked him if his count was correct. Benyamine told us he lost a huge 20,000-chip pot after the folded flush with aces against ace-jack. The chips went into the pot on a {K-}{10-}{7-} flop and the Frenchman got very unlucky on either the turn or the river.

David Benyamine only has 2,100 chips left behind and has a lot of ground to cover before he's back in the race.

Naselli Pulls off Huge Bluff

The board reads {6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} with 2,600 in the middle and it's Fabrizzio Naselli's turn. The Italian player bets 2,100 from the small blind after which Benyamine gets a big decision. The French pro thinks about it for a long time before he open folds {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. "Nice hand" he says while tapping on the table and Naselli shows him {8-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a complete bluff. "Nice play" is what Benyamine adds after seeing that he just got bluffed.

David Benyamine plays on with plenty of chips but this fold has to hurt.
