Level 4 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Taylor Paur: Busted in 8th place
Taylor Paur: Busted in 8th place

Taylor Paur has been eliminated in eighth place and we are now down to seven players at this final table.

Paur had three-bet shoved his 122,000 stack from the small blind after Michael Watson had opened to 16,000 from early position and the very next hand he open-shoved from the button and Max Silver snap-called in the big blind.

Paur{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Silver{A-Hearts}{A-Spades}

The final board ran out {5-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and with that Paur became our eighth place finisher.

Two Quick Ones

Level 3 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Steve O'Dwyer raise-called a fifth of his stack to Michael Watson in the blinds. The flop fell {10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and O'Dwyer check-folded to a Watson c-bet.

The next hand Emil Patel raised from the cut-off and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier peeled from the big blind to see a {8-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop. Patel c-bet for 18,000 and ElkY check-called before check-raising all-in for 150,000 on the {a-Spades} turn. Patel's second bullet was 46,000 and he folded to the push.

O'Dwyer Defends His Big Blind

Level 3 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Max Silver, on the button, started the betting with a raise to 13,000. Emil Patel folded in the small blind but Steve O'Dwyer called in the big blind seat.

The dealer burned a card and put out the {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop. O'Dwyer checked, Silver placed three black 5,000 chips past the betting line and O'Dwyer wasted little time in calling. The {4-Spades} was the turn card and both players checked its arrival. The {8-Spades} completed the community cards and O'Dwyer glanced at his own stack, then at Silver, picked up 30,000 chips and bet them. Silver instantly folded.

ElkY Still Mixing it Up

Level 3 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier tangled with Max Silver and ended up all-in on the river.

He was sat on the button and was the only player to call Silver's 14,000 early position raise. The flop came down {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Silver conceded the initiative by check-calling a 21,000 bet from the Frenchman.

Both players checked the {10-Clubs} turn before Silver checked the {j-Diamonds} river to face the all-in worth 121,000. He tank-folded to drop to 290,000.

Watson Wins Monster Pot, Takes Chip Lead

Level 3 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

We just reported that Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier was getting no action, now he has been getting too much.

Michael Watson opened to 12,000 from under the gun and his only customer was ElkY to his direct left. The flop came down {9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Watson made a continuation bet of 20,000 and was instantly called by the Triple Crown winner.

The turn saw another ace make an appearance, the {A-Spades} and Watson bet 50,000 and again ElkY snap-called. The {4-Hearts} on the river was greeted with a check from Watson, a bet of 88,000 from ElkY and an all-in bet of 264,000 from Watson.

ElkY paused for a few moments before announcing, "I call."

ElkY{A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Watson{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Watson scopps the massive 685,000 pot is is certainly our new chip leader, whilst ElkY drops to 120,000.

ElkY and Toth Clash

Level 3 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier opened to 12,000 from early position, next to act was Richard Toth and he called. The rest of the table folded and it was heads up to the {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop. ElkY made a continuation bet of 16,000 and Toth quickly called. The turn brought the {3-Clubs} into play and ElkY increased his bet size to 37,000 but Toth was prepared to pay it and he called once more.

The river was the {7-Spades} and both players check but Toth folded when his French opponent turned over {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

James Demspey
James Demspey

ElkY finally got some action and it was knocking out James Dempsey who was third time unlucky when all-in.

Michael Watson raised to 14,000 and was called by ElkY before Dempsey three-bet all-in. ElkY made the call when all had folded before him.

ElkY: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Dempsey: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

Nether player improved through the {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board and Dempsey wished everyone luck before departing.
