Traniello Wins Back-to-Back Hands

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Marco Traniello is up to 36,000 chips after winning back-to-back hands.

The first saw him open from the hijack to 750 and only Ramzi Jelassi in the big blind called. The flop came down {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and both players checked. The turn was the {7-Spades} and again both players checked. The river saw the {5-Diamonds} make an appearance and when Jelassi checked, Traniello bet 1,350 and took down the pot.

The very next hand the action folded to Traniello and he raised to 750. This time only Eugene Katchalov called in the big blind. A flop reading {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} was checked by both players but the {5-Hearts} turn saw Katchalov bet 1,300 and Traniello call. The river brought the {6-Spades} into play and Katchalov bet again, this time 2,100 only to see Traniello raise very quickly to 5,900.

Katchalov went into the tank for over two minutes before he mucked his hand..
