One for Bonnet

From under the gun, Roberto Romanello raised to 2,500. Yannick Bonnet called from the hijack seat and everyone else folded.

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and both players checked to see the {9-Clubs} land on the turn. Romanello checked and Bonnet bet 3,000. Romanello called.

The river was the {10-Spades} and paired the board with tens. Romanello checked, Bonnet bet 4,500, and Romanello folded.

Tilly Can't Bluff Ung Again

Jennifer Tilly already tried to bluff Senh Ung and it failed. She just tried again, but again her bluff attempt didn't work.

On the {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board, Tilly fired 10,000. Ung stood strong and made the call to see the {J-Diamonds} land on the river. Tilly moved all in and Ung called off his last 11,800 after a minute of thought. Tilly didn't look pleased as she turned over the {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Ung held the {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for the winning hand and doubled up.

"Crazy" River Card for Cantu

From under the gun, Brandon Cantu raised to 2,800. Senh Ung made the call from the small blind while everyone else got out of the way.

The dealer spread the {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and Ung check-called a bet of 3,000 from Cantu. On the {A-Diamonds} turn, both players checked. The river was the {9-Hearts} and Ung led for 4,900.

"That's such a crazy river card for me," said Cantu as he thought. Eventually, he folded and Ung won the pot.

Hellmuth Has a Four

Phill Hellmuth
Phill Hellmuth

After Alessandro Meoni raised to 2,500 on the button, action folded to Phil Hellmuth in the big blind.

"I'm going to raise you to 6,000," said Hellmuth, tossing in the chips to do so. Meoni called to see a flop.

The flop came down {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Hellmuth led for 7,000. Meoni called and the dealer placed the {8-Hearts} on the turn. Both players checked.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Hellmuth took a minute to squeeze his cards. He then checked. Meoni reached for chips right away and get 8,800.

"How much? Eight-eight?" Hellmuth asked. He then tossed in the call.

Meoni turned up the {K-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a busted straight draw.

"King-ten high?" quipped Hellmuth. "I have a four," he continued as he turned up the {4-Spades}{3-Spades}.

Hellmuth won the pot with his two pair and moved to 85,000 in chips.

Romanello Gives Some More to Hellmuth

When we arrived at the table, Phil Hellmuth and Alessandro Meoni had all the money in on the {8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. Hellmuth had the {A-Spades}{3-Spades} for a combo draw against the {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} for Meoni. The turn was the {7-Hearts} and the river was the {9-Diamonds} to give Meoni the double up.

Roberto Romanello seemed a little confused with what had happened and asked Yannick Bonnet what happened preflop. Bonnet informed him that there was a raise from Meoni, a call from Hellmuth and then Bonnet three-bet. Romanello took this information and asked Hellmuth what he was doing in a big pot on the flop after calling a three-bet preflop with ace-three of spades.

Hellmuth didn't like that Romanello was getting on his case a bit after losing. "They always come after you after you lose a pot," he said out loud. "You're a real classy guy, real classy."

"I was just wondering what you're doing in that pot after it was three-bet preflop to 7,500 and you had ace-three of spades," needled Romanello.

"You're a real classy guy," was all Hellmuth could add as he slipped his headphones back on and went to the next hand.
