Chartier Uses His Blocker

Dori Yacoub is no stranger to big buy-in events, and his results have been pretty good as well. Back in 2010 Yacoub finished third in the €25,000 EPT High Roller for €358,000 and in 2011 he made the WPT Paris final. The value bet he just tried to make against Sam Chartier did not go particularly well thought.

The board read {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} and Yacoub bet 3,200 into a pot worth around 4,500. Chartier went into the tank for a bit before raising it up to 8,600. Yacoub only needed a few seconds before turning over his {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and throwing them into the muck.

Chartier looked at his cards and flashed the {A-Spades}. Moments later he also showed the remainder of the hand, {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, and Yacoub smiled. He was bluffed off a chopped pot by Charier who took down the pot.
