It's The Mizrachi Show

Michael Mizrachi's table is conveniently located next to our press table, and we just saw another crazy hand with the two-time $50,000 Players Championship winner.

Mizrachi got two players all in holding {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. The biggest stack he was up against had 19,275 and showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, while the short stack showed {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}. He was only in for 4,400 chips.

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Spades} and Mizrachi took down the whole pot with trip sevens. He did not seem to realize this at first as he was counting out a side pot. Mizrachi thought the short stack had made a flush, but this wasn't the case.

"Oh!?!? Scooper! Get these cards out of here!" Mizrachi laughed when he found out his trips were the winning hand. Mizrachi mucked both his opponents cards and raked in another big pot.

"Let's start gambling," Mizrachi said as the next hand got dealt. "Is this a one day event?" he added as the rest of the table cracked a smile. Mizrachi is on a tear with a huge lead over his nearest rival, Vladimir Troyanovskiy, who's on 32,000.

The former November Nine finalist has gotten another interesting opponent as Greg Merson, this year's October Nine finalist, was just moved to his table.
