Small Pots For Cantu and Hairabedian

While the match between Jonathan Aguiar and Faraz Jaka saw much action early, Brandon Cantu and Roger Hairabedian have seen pots of a much smaller size.

Most recently we found Cantu raise to 10,000 from the button. Hairabedian called and the flop fell {K-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Both players checked their option and the {9-Spades} turned. Hairabedian flung out 5,000 but Cantu made it 16,000 to go. Roger showed the {9-Clubs} and mucked his hand.

Jaka on the Ropes Again

Faraz Jaka, with the level about to go up, is down to is last 24 big blinds.

Jonathan Aguiar raised to 9,000 and bet 9,500 on a {4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop. Jaka called both times before the {10-Hearts} was checked through. The {j-Diamonds} fell on the river and and Aguiar bet 21,000 when the action was checked to him.

Jaka thought about it before he folded.

Aguiar Can't Be Stopped

Jonathan Aguiar opened to 9,500 from the button and Faraz Jaka called.

The flop fell {J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Jaka checked. Aguiar continued for 11,500 and Jaka flat called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Jaka decided to take matters into his own hands with a 23,000 bet. Aguiar wouldn't be swayed, however, as he made it 68,000 to go. Jaka called.

The {3-Hearts} came on the river and Jaka pushed 120,000 into the middle. Aguiar shrugged and called, showing {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a turned straight. Jaka flung away his hand and is on life support with only 90,000 left behind.
