Big Slick vs. Queens

On the second-to-last hand at their table, Sam Trickett and Daniel Negreanu got all the money in preflop with ace-king versus queens. Here's what happened.

From under the gun, Jonathan Duhamel raised to 6,000. Negreanu flatted from the small blind, then Trickett reraised to 21,000 out of the big blind. Duhamel folded, and Negreanu reraised to 53,000. Trickett wanted to raise small, but due to French gaming law, had to make it at least 106,000. Negreanu then shoved, and Trickett called.

Trickett: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Negreanu: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The flop came down {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} to keep Trickett in front. "Oh come on flips," sighed Negreanu.

The turn was the {A-Clubs}, and that gave Negreanu the lead. The river completed the board with the {9-Clubs}.

Trickett lost the hand and opted to rebuy.
